The Relationship Between Emotion Goals and Well-Being

In one study, researchers found that wanting to feel happy all the time was actually linked to lower well-being contrary to what people would think. Other studies have shown that depression sufferers are more motivated to experience sadness. So looking at the emotional goals can provide us with very important information about how people want to feel. This is very relevant to understand why people experience emotions and dysregulation issues.
