Do You Know When the Sun Starts to Get Dark Outside?

When it starts getting dark outside, your brain pumps out melatonin. Less morning light means less melatonin suppression and that can leave us feeling groggy and sluggish starting the day. Earlier sunsets mean that the melatonin surge at bedtime is less dramatic, which can make it harder to get quality interrupted sleep. During the winter, there's less daylight hours. So it's even more important to try to get outside and get some vitamin D going on.
