Data.world's knowledge graph technology is built on open standards like RDF, OWL and D-CAT. The company also uses vocabularies from the W3C to describe what metadata is. Data.world says its catalog will be resilient for the unknown use cases of tomorrow. "We're not re-inventing anything kind of," said CEO Tim O'Neill.
