The Power of White Fly
In 2003 to maybe 2006, I spent time in a company, also Power Grid, and they also built everything from scratch. They had that kind of no SQL database written in C and it actually worked for years. And the entire strategy of the company is we only use because of Power Grid for Power Plans. So if we can build everything from scratch, we can control it. And then we introduce white fly. There was no white fly back then, just JBoss. But one developer did nothing else than understanding white fly. He was in charge of white fly patches and he was really into it, for instance.
