Second death is the lake of fire? Yes, it says that, but that does not satisfy the question. If satan and his followers were being tormented day and night for ever and ever, he would think that those thrown into the lake ofFire will be tormented just like them. Why does the text say be twormented day andNight forever and ever,. above in where we know that satan is defeated and thrown into like fire. Later on, death and hades are thrown in like fire, then those whos names are in the book of life are thrown into the Lake of Fire.
