What Is the Relationship Between Being Awaked and Being Awoken?

The woke movement has gained tremendous attraction in recent years. It does seem that a lot of woke self knowledge involves recognizing yourself either as a victim or an oppressor. Augustine would describe these sorts of conversions as moments of awakening and i don't have an answer.
