I used the concepts of y c apartmert with an american friend of mine, philip kirakof, and we together built the first accelerator in africa. It was a ridiculous success because for the very first time, you had all these ser executives at berkeley saying, oh my god, we can actually work with payment gateways. And that opened the flood gates to a lot of pilots, proof of concepts, javs and license gells that berkeleys loved.
