The Stone Age Economy
Singing is a way of telling the story. Music was rarely about an audience, it was always about mass participation. Martin Luther wrote his pamphlets to be sung, not to be read. It's been like a book except people could sing and you didn't have to be able to read to be ability to sing. A theory is that humans used singing for hunting in the beginning, not for entertainment, but for scaring animals. The Stone Age economy was all based on productivity. And if you talk about their typical Dublin theatres right now, if you know what they're talking about? If you've got any questions or comments please email jennifer.smith@mailonline.
