The Negatives of Futures Markets
The Chinese government closed about 60 of its futures markets in the late 80s. They then opened three new ones that still exist today, which are extremely well run and do enormous volume. The only thing negative at the bottom is they're very internal. So it's only a Chinese audience they speak to and the traders are trading. And there's no interaction with the rest of the world.
