The Myth of Iceland
Iceland is the second largest island in Europe right after Great Britain. The overall mythology and belief system in Iceland is really just a transplant by Scandinavian settlers about 1200 years ago. Think about it, massive waterfalls, deep ravines, towering volcanic mountains all painted in the light of the Aurora Borealis. It was a world that begged for explanation, so they told stories about it.
