The wedding and coronation is actually something that you can really see resting on that bedrock of european culture. But there are some differences in how, especially in how marriages are framed culturally. In france we get, as in england, a lot of pageants. So the queen's procession to the cathedral is accompanied by pageants. And then in poland, you've guess, none of that archly. There is none of that theatrical element. You get a lot of speeches. i think this is linked to the parliamentary culture in part, where this ability to make speeches was highly valued. Some queens really struggle to fit into those rols.
