The first point is you have to produce vertical force and that's my kind of engineering background coming in. I was just always fascinated that we had this very posterior chain bias with track and field athletes. A lot of them have really amazing anterior chain as well so it's trying to get that balance right. It's a constant sort of dilemma that you go through as a clinician between well what do I go through first and where's my lowest hanging fruit?
