The Importance of Oppenheimer
I don't think I buy Nolan's big idea. He is very direct about his idea that Oppenheimer is the most important person who ever lived. And then if you see the movie again, people say some version of that to him several times to Alec. You have all the, like, you know, and even this movie is wrestling with Oppenheimer's very real documented struggle of how much is my responsibility and how much is the responsibility of other people. That's exactly right. The great man just wants to be great and himself again. It's not the great man's fault is the two second.
