The Future of Theology

Christian ethics is trying to answer a question which is what sort of life does the gospel enjoy? I take hope to be a kind of response to the judgment that there is some good, some future good that can be gained through difficulty. It's not the first time that Christian theology has encountered difficulties like them. This isn't the first time the difficulties we'll be talking about today. Some of them are new, some of them are pretty old, some will be with us till the end of the age. Where should we be looking for hope in the future of theology? For hope.
