How do you address the shame someone feels because they know they were complicit in their abuse? In a word, blessing. The shame of complicity is overcome by blessing. Blessing simply means naming something as good. You have to amplify the storyteller's shame. Yes, you heard that right. Whenever the storytellers gets close to shame, you're going to feel pulled to rescue them from that shame.
