The United States Is the Dominant Player in the Caribbean

In a number of countries, particularly in the Caribbean, the United States still is the dominant player in many. That may be the case that China gets that benefit of the more benevolent engagement but at the same time there's no way to compare the deep ties, people to people ties, cultural ties and linguistic ties. So they're not equals in that sense between the US and China.
