This is a story about interwar America and a mass Nazi movement called the Silver Shirts centered around a man who claimed to speak to long-dead celebrities, including the surprisingly anti-Semitic ghosts of Ben Franklin and Jesus Christ. Follow William Dudley Pelley, toilet paper heir, Hollywood screenwriter, award-winning author, dedicated hustler, and American Nazi militia leader as "mentors" from the 4th dimension guide him and his thousands of followers into a genocidal political platform and a 'prophesied' presidential run. TENE examines Pelley's career hucksterism from the 1920s to his 'unexpected' death in '65. Join them as they marvel at his infantile attempts to court Native American followers and at the lasting effect his buffoonery had on the American fascist movement.
