The Relationship Between Virtue and Patience
I'm curious why this level is necessary for virtue. I think vices you can have without involving the narrative, right? You can just have bad habits. So we could think about an assassin who's killing someone for money being very patient,. But they have a second condition of doing this for some moral reason that needs to be satisfied. And we wouldn't say they're patient, we would say they're just really good at regulating their emotions.
