When the floods subsided, spacecraft landed on dry land and unloaded cargo. Provisions are dropped off at the same time human beings are learning how to feed themselves,. Once the humans are self sufficient, the provisions stop for hundreds of years. There's no energy, resources or time for documenting things properly.
