Is There a Tridentine Perspective?

i see elements of really grabbing on to the protestant perspective in many ways. There are plenty of church fathers that don't agree with the tridentine perspective. And so it's not a matter of saying, why one side is consistent with the fathers nd te other side isn't. The question is much more complicated and complex than that. i'm also just kind of curious as to where this came from, this idea of an initial justification within the roman perspective which isn't a historic one here.
