Jesus in Nazareth

The two sites that are most well known in the gospels in galilee are nazareth and capernaum. And yet these sites are very small and fairly insignificant, nazareth more so than Capernaum. For jesus to have spent two and a half some odd years in the vicinity of tiberius and never visit it is not just odd, it's purposeful that there's not a connection.
