What Makes a Great Developer Experience?
The number one factor for me is a deep empathy with the people you're serving and building APIs for as we work on exposing parts of a platform, not just common room. "Deep understanding what the customer needs and what pain you're solving for them is probably the place to start," he says. What about the cultural aspects? Earlier in my career, I had a very different approach to what good engineering culture looks like but now I'm convinced that opinionated engineering culture is the way to win.
