The Importance of Subtitles in Learning

I think watching, watching with the subtitles in your language just sounds really hard for your brain. To me, that's like two modes of input in two different languages. If you are going to use subtitles, if you do still need them, I would prefer them to be to have the movie in English and the subtitles in English. There is also a good chance it at your level will support you more than others. So experiment but even then don't have any preconceived notions about how things should look or what they're supposed to say.
