Is There a Real Ground of Property?
Kant tries to straddle, I think this line between the individual and the social ground of property. And that leaves open a gap in terms of what is the real ground? Is it from other people that allow me to use things in the world with their consent? Once you move into the social conception, you're kind of opening the gates already, I think, to alternative understandings of property. That really blows open this whole line of development that you explore in such like fabulous detail in the book.
