The Australian National Anthem Changed
The word is young and free will be changed to one and free in order to avoid offending the old. It's a gesture of inclusiveness towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people. Nish: I look just as though so much in the national anthem that I would change beginning with the tune and going on to almost every other word in the Australian national anthem. We're not really in a position to give national anthem advice.
