Cas i freely admit that religion can cause people to do extraordinary things, which are good. It's certainly possible that there are people who would only go to africa to aid in a famine because of what they believe about jesus and about the importance of spreading his word. That's another example of the double standard. And if we can admit that religion is such a psychological motivator that it will drive missionaries to places that are well, god forsaken in both respects, and sacrificed, basely, their well being an their lives to do this kind of stuff.
