The Role of Government in Business
Businesses that don't give people what they want cease to be business. Sooner or later you get this notion of government picking winners. The real issue here from a philosophical point of view is an oligarchy rule by a few well connected people. And it flies in the face of democratic republicanism which should be better than that. But for all the public choice economics reasons that I think people are aware of if they listen us regularly you see that people will behave in certain predictable ways when power and money are on the table together.
