When engaging with our pome, staring, taking our focus, attention and staring into that tiny space, is associated with mechanisms have evolved for humans to track. So when we're staring at this tiny screen all that time, what is doing is continuously ramping up the activity of our fight or flight nervous system. And before you know it, after you spend a significant on social media, you get off and you just don't feel right. Now, healthy social interaction is critical to our health and development, absolutely. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you're also creating and maintaining healthy relationships in the real world.
