Web Three Gaming - The Next Natural Phase of Adoption
In 2021 we saw a huge influx of users to games like Axie Infinity which had around 2.7 million players at its peak. This is kind of first experimentation phase but even now still have around 400,000 daily active users. In the first half of 2022 the average daily active users playing web three games across the whole space according to DAP radar was around 800,000 players per day and nearly 60% of all on-chain activity came from games and gaming apps. So this movement has not and is not going away. I think we're still awaiting that mainstream but breakthrough moment that onboards players who again care less about the technology but come for the gameplay first in 2023.
