When we continue to only communicate from our perspective, we lack a huge, huge amount of awareness of the other person and their experience. So if we know that the only way to make up after a fight is to really understandSomeone else's perspective and hear them out, why don't we just do that in the beginning of our communication so we avoid the fight altogether?
