The American Conversation on Religion and Politics

If you had an Iranian friend reading this who was Muslim, he would assume that, well, of course you can't separate religion and politics probably. Right. And if you had somebody here from the Saudi Arabia embassy reading it, they would assume the same thing. So in that sense, the communist is going to be more like the American and deny that a big G God, some view of God informs what they're doing in the public square. But nonetheless, they're necessarily making a decision about that and it's informing their politics.
