How to Check for a Broken Ophthalmoscope
If your ophthalmoscope is broken, then you go in there and start with the vision. You're not worried about someone just needing new glasses. Turn the lights off when you're checking for pupils. Check motility, especially someone that has double vision. And then we always check eye pressure,. I think that's something that anybody can really do with the tone open. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one at every primary care clinic.
