Connecting With People Regardless of Their Background

i like to sheare a little bit about my background, because one of the things that's really critical when we think about this work is connecting with people through personal stories. I grew up in northeast ohio, akron and canton, ohio, one of 20 siblings. My parents had gone to college, but none of em ever graduated from college. They were active in a social justice movements of the time,. working for equality and acess for black folks in particular. i got to do things like goon camping trips and things that i wasn't going to do with my family, but i was playing sports.
