This current, like terrible penemic phase is also not going to last forever. So this virus is going what people call endemic, which means it's going to keep circulating. It might be another seasonal virus, so it might look something like the flue or the cold. And we actually have maybe some precedent for this - corniverouses are actually a whole family of iruses and they cause common colds. We've probably all had these viruses as children, where the disease was pretty mild. The immunity to infection from these cornerices actually wanes pretty quickly.
