The Poems of Charles Cosley

I tried to choose poems that had strong archetypes in them, especially archetypes of childhood. And I think abandonment is one. Loss of innocence was another theme that I wanted to cover because these were stages my daughter was going through in her own childhood. It's interesting how many poems that are ostensibly written for children have these dark undernotes.
