The things might be dire but we're not dire right there's nothing dire about the people in our lives and the relationships and solidarities that we all enjoy. We are going to grow and make stronger through all of this you know sure because we have to but that doesn't mean that we don't get more out of it than we put in. I'll also say that the queer and trans young people in my life are some of the silliest geese I know and they are not like in any way unable to access their own joy just because where you know what I see as my job to protect that joy right and like other people should too.
