Groucho Marx used to make a joke about because his second wife, I think, was non-Jewish. He took her to the New York Athletic Club and asked if she could go in the pool up to her waist. And again, it was that case of when you've been restricted a real freedom, you look for any kind of status or anything you can hold on to get that freedom. The Jews were restricted until the 1950s. Even Harvard had limits on how many Jews could attend. Country clubs would not allow Jews and just astonishing. There is an either minority that does better per person financially than Jews.
