The Early Iron Age - Is It?
Archaeologists have found evidence that the corseat enclosure of kara is relatively short lived. We have very, very little evidence for people up on that hill for the next two or three thousand years. And it's only at the beginning of the iron age, for about 706 hundred b c, that we suddenly start to see people on this hill again. Cira: The morphology of the site changes as more and more people gather together and start living in the hillford. But when you visit any aur chrystal site to day, what you're seeing is its kind of final shape and morpholigy before that site was abandoned.
