Yail case provides lots of specific examples of amissions reduction in response to the carbon charge. The med school turned down the heat one degree fahrenheit across their 29 energy intensive buildings and saved a million dollars a year in utility costs. But when we look at omissions data across the whole university, we haven't been able to draw a direct link between our internal carbon pricing system and emissions reductions since 20 17. That's when the carbon charge went into place.
