Tupakamaru, the Chief Officer of the Court, Accompanied by the Bishop of Cuzco
Tupak amaro was carried through the crowd with his arms tied behind his back. When he mounted the scaffold, accompanied by the bishop of cuzco, the entire crowd let out a blood curdling wail of mourning. Tupakamaru reached out his hand, he gave a clap, at which all the people fell silent. This was a manifest sign of the obedience, fear and respect that the indians for their incas and lords. With just a clap they silenced the cries and tears coming from the heart that are so difficult to hide.
