The Clean Up of Tolat Island
The island is weot people like it is made by and isa place very deeply connected to o people. And so allthe a batteries wich were leaching lead and other nasty chemicals and acids into humble bay, a retaining wall made of batteries. So when the tribe acquired this property in two thousand they also inherited the eliability the cost f cleaning all this up. To the tribe it was that was anything. They wanted the land back, and we were going to do the clean up as well.
