The Power of a Cultural Image in Advocacy

I think there's this whole thing that like lots of women say where it's like, oh, well, I don't want to take away from other people's experiences. And in fact, I think it does build solidarity when you actually claim that if it's appropriate for you because then you can come together with this whole other community of people who've experienced it and start making structural changes. You know, you share some common experiences, although perhaps not all.
