CSS Variables: The Power of Scoping
SAS is not going anywhere, I don't think. I think that SAS will be adapted to use these variables. So if you rather use a dollar sign variable and just have them transpiled to native CSS variables, that's totally fine. You don't have to necessarily use that syntax that you're using.
