There are a surprising number of strange things that have gotten in the way of observing sessions. I've talked to people who have lost time because of really surprising natural events, o volcanoes erupting or earthquakes disrupting the observatory. In reality, we now have really spectacular digital technology on the backs of telescopes to take really high, high quality data. So it's very much a different picture than a scientist sitting in a lab at a labco It's a little bit more indiana jones than i think a lot of people would realize.
