The Effect of Age on Cognitive Function

The younger you are at age of injury, generally speaking, the more pervasive the effect is going to be. Age is really important but also cognitive reserve is important too. A study done a couple of decades ago found that nuns who had Alzheimer's dementia were able to write about their lives and learn new skills. So I think there being so many different factors that impact people actually manifests in different ways.
