The Importance of Conformity in Schools

Conformity means you just blindly follow everyone else. You're afraid other people will reject you. That's conformity. So it's a school's reward conformity. They teach everybody to be the same is what that means. The kid who wants to go off and do something different than his peers is shunned. A lot of times it's hard for them to make friends. All the other students are used to conformity. Thinking the same. Being the same. And so the students get the same mentality. Anyone who's different gets bullied or at least ignored, he says.
