Nonmu is a type of wood and a tree that only grows in southwest china. It was used to build monumental halls for the Chinese emperor, yongla. But as time went on, it became more and more difficult to find trees growing close to the waterways. So i wonder if you could introduce us to these, ah, these nonmu trees, and why they were so special.
