SBM Bank had become a FinTech darling. It allowed Slice to use its prepaid payment instrument's license. Other FinTech saw this and wanted SBM Bank on their side too. But here's the thing. They might be getting a little worried about this RBI order against the bank. Their business is basically dependent on this one obscure foreign bank. And that didn't quite inspire a lot of confidence.
