I Think Books Can Be Like Our Only Salvation From That
i think books don't have to be carried on the same waves that the rest of, you know, narrative art is in movies and t v. i spend my whole, like, life and day on the computer now, and my attention has gone to shit. I can't even read any more. Even when i've been editing my own work, i have to have it read back to me on the computer. It's such a shocking concept, but it's also so mundane, because we're all going through it. But i do think books can be like our salvation in that ndand they can, and we can be letized when we talk about them.
