Is the Housing Market in a Recession?

Is it possible that a us. Recession is something that's more in the 12 to 24 month range? Because when i look at, let's say, credit card spending, up until very recently, the us. Consumer was at a point where banks had a problem. People weren't borrowing enough. And i think now we're at the point where borrowing is going up, but it's not a, you dont aren't huge default likewise. The price of housing is still going up a and typically, like the price of housing, doesn't have a cra, a blow off top where it surges higher and then immediately crashes. Typically it sort of peaks, crests and then goes down.
